About

I am interested in the ‘object’ within visual art and craft contexts. My recent work often makes reference to domestic materials and and their everyday meanings – the tensions between their functional, narrative and aesthetic qualities.

I use a variety of media in my work including installation and sculpture, ready-made objects, textiles, lighting and video. My work is usually site specific/responsive and integral with the architectural and spatial environment.

As part of  Absent but not Forgotten, I work collaboratively alongside artist, Jacob Whittaker to create installations and artworks which use video and sound experiments, textiles, furniture and technical objects. The project examines the phenomenon of ghost-hunting and the paranormal – its associations, cliches and influences on contemporary media.

I was born and raised in south London and live and work in west Wales.
